Westin Pumps, by the nature of its work, is part of a global industry and we like to keep pace with the latest developments in marine technology.

Recent visits have taken us to Hamburg, for the SMM international trade fair, and to London, for the IMPA Exhibition. Every two years, more than 2,000 companies and 48,000 participants turn Hamburg's exhibition halls into the business and social hub of the global maritime community.

At SMM, it was a pleasure to meet representatives of leading pump manufacturers, Garbarino, Leistritz, Sero, SEIM and Kral, with the aim of strengthening our relationships.

We discussed innovative solutions that our clients are asking about, including marine pumps and pumps for industrial use.

These personal interactions help us to build and maintain relationships, address industry challenges and plan for the future, with a special focus on improving customer service.

We were particularly interested to visit the stands concerned with ship operation equipment, environmental technologies, pumps, valves, compressors and new fuel technologies.

The key international issues of green technology and the growing influence of AI on all aspects of the marine industry also proved to be strong attractions.

Sustainability and innovation were key elements of the IMPA Exhibition in London. This exhibition brings together ship-owners and operators with maritime suppliers and manufacturers spanning more than 60 countries.

Here we met potential clients and held discussions with representative of global businesses. We also made connections with other companies in the maritime sector to exploring opportunities for cooperation.
