Investing in the future by developing individuals and teams

The Westin Group has a strong belief in developing young engineers through apprenticeship schemes, in-house and external training. We regularly have apprentices going through training and we shall be looking to recruit more in the coming years. 

 

We are fortunate in that they have access to a specialist further education engineering centre nearby. This modern £7.5million facility contains workshops for CNC, manufacturing, mechanics, fabrication and welding. 

 

Working conditions at Westin Pumps are excellent and we adopt a policy of promoting from within where practicable. 

 

​Several of our senior managers and supervisors have risen through the ranks and some have achieved university degrees while doing so.
